Never paste a brain token into an issue, screenshot, log, or public chat. Support can diagnose most setup problems without it.

CLI setup

npx memoize-xyz doctor

This checks token resolution, API reachability, and the installed skill without printing the token.

MCP setup

Use the canonical URL https://memoize.xyz/mcp. Your client should discover OAuth automatically. If discovery fails, verify that it can open protected-resource metadata and authorization-server metadata.

Universal agent setup and usage

If connection fails

Run npx memoize-xyz doctor. A connection token not used within five minutes expires; create a fresh one from the brain's security panel. For OAuth, reconnect through your client's MCP settings. Keep tokens and private memory content out of diagnostic logs.

Delete a brain

Complete, irreversible deletion is documented in the privacy policy. The authenticated request removes the brain's hot and cold data, links, and OAuth grants.
